Donate to Hospice

Hospice of Central Ohio is a community-based nonprofit organization. Services are available regardless of age, sex, race, creed, type of diagnosis, or ability to pay.

Many private insurance companies offer a hospice benefit, as do Medicare and Medicaid. The generous support of the community helps to make up the difference between actual cost and reimbursement.

Donor support is especially critical to bereavement services, most of which are not covered by Medicare, Medicaid, or insurance and are almost completely supported by donations.

Hospice of Central Ohio is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation as designated by the IRS. Your tax-deductible donation goes further toward the direct assistance of patients and families.

Many Hospice programs, such as Bereavement Services, are completely dependent on donations, as these programs are not covered by Medicare/Medicaid or insurance.
