Introduction to Hospice

Hospice is a special kind of care for people with life limiting illnesses, their families and their caregivers. Hospice treats the physical, emotional and spiritual needs by caring for the patient in whatever setting they call "home". Hospice care concentrates on making the patients comfortable and free of pain, allowing the patient to make the most of the time that remains.
